On August 30th, (turf trial 1000m: 10-10-9) the horse jumped out well but consistently drifted inwards with no noticeable speed. This is the horse’s first trial of the season and was considered insufficient work. Now facing a straight course race for the first time, he will carry four extra pounds this time around. The distance is unfavorable, coupled with a poor barrier draw, making his chances difficult; consider this a trial run only.
