On August 30th, a turf trial over 1000m saw the horse accelerate in sections and finish second. On August 21st, during a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections 6-3-2), the horse showed eagerness. Returning from a spell, this is his seasonal debut. Two barrier trials have been completed with slight improvement shown. Switching to Sha Tin over 1400m now, it’s his first attempt at this distance. He carries no additional weight this time and the trip should suit. A hold-up tactics are expected, possessing the strongest finishing kick in the field. Zac Purton takes the ride; the jockey has some understanding of the horse's capabilities and maintains a good rapport with the trainer. Despite drawing an outside barrier, the situation is not entirely unfavorable and another look is warranted.
