On August 25th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse finish weakly towards the rear. This is his seasonal debut after a period of rest. He’s had one barrier trial and wasn't fully prepared. Carrying only a one-pound penalty this time, despite having two previous wins over this distance, and with comparable times to horses in the same group, he needs to be held up for a late run. His finishing kick is decent and his overall form is good, but he’s drawn an outside barrier which complicates things; positioning will be key.
