On September 1st (from Conghua turf trial 1200m: 1-1-1), the horse showed a bright and willing attitude, leading throughout. On June 27th (from Conghua turf trial 1200m: 8-8-8) it was hampered on the straight and didn’t fully extend. After a long break, this is its seasonal debut. Two barrier trials have been completed with some improvement noted. Making its Happy Valley mile debut this race requires carrying an additional five pounds, the distance is unfavorable, and it has drawn a poor barrier. Lacking a strong finishing kick, the horse faces difficult circumstances; even if able to settle in a good position tracking the leaders, solid effort will only be sufficient as preparation.
