On August 29th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse travelling on the outside rail with some reserve left in the final section; its performance was not unfavorable. This is the horse’s first run of the season. A previous barrier trial showed it unable to keep pace with the leading horses. Now switching to a Happy Valley mile for its debut over this distance, it benefits from a five-pound weight reduction but the increased distance may not suit. Drawing a poor barrier complicates matters; observing its performance in one race is recommended before assessing its chances.
