On August 29th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m (recorded times of 2-2-1), the horse travelled second along the rail and finished with a reasonable sprint. This is his seasonal debut, following one barrier trial showing slight improvement. He carries an eight-pound weight reduction for this race but lacks a strong finishing kick. The form isn’t ideal despite having secured two wins over this distance previously; while the overall times are comparable to other horses in the same group, he needs to secure a good position tracking the leaders and benefits from a favorable barrier draw, however it is not expected to lead to success in this race.
