He carries only two pounds more in this race, having previous form over this distance and recording the fastest time among his group. The plan is to settle towards the rear, he has good finishing kick, and based on relative ability, he appears to be the strongest contender in this event. Trainer and jockey are a good match, with gatework observed pre-race. Despite drawing a less favorable barrier, his overall prospects remain positive.
