FLYING WROTE

On August 29th (dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-7), the horse settled near the front but showed only an average effort when pushed in the straight. This is its seasonal debut, having undergone one barrier trial without noticeable improvement. Carrying a three-pound weight reduction this time, it has previous form over this distance and comparable times within its group. It’s expected to track the pace setters closely; capable of settling forward. Despite an unfavourable draw, a clean jump and commitment to maintaining a forward position should see it comfortably secure a place in the leading pack – considered a strong contender in this race.
