On August 29th (dirt trial 1200m: 2-3-3), the horse settled comfortably in third after a fast start. This is his seasonal debut, following one barrier trial showing slight improvement. He will carry six pounds more this time, having performed well over this distance previously and with good times recorded by horses in the same group. Drawing a favorable barrier, trainer and jockey are a good match. The horse is improving in condition but may lack the finishing kick of rivals, making his chances questionable; considered a likely outsider with some potential."
