On August 27th, (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-7), the horse took the lead and weakened in the final 200 meters. This is its seasonal debut following one barrier trial where it didn’t keep pace with the leaders. Last run was over a Happy Valley 1200m, this time with a three-pound weight reduction. Its sectional timing was weak compared to others in the same group and finishing kick was poor; unfavorable conditions despite two previous wins at this distance. Although capable of early speed and drawing a reasonable barrier, it's not considered a strong contender for this race.
