On August 29th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections recorded as 4-4-5), the horse was urged forward at a steady pace. This is its first trial of the season; it struggled to keep up with the leading pace in a previous barrier trial. It will carry an additional two pounds this time, posting good times relative to other horses in its group. The plan is to settle towards the rear and rely on a strong finishing kick – it showed the strongest finishing speed among its trial partners. Horse and jockey are a good match; despite drawing an outside barrier which isn’t ideal, there is still potential to lead."
