On September 4th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 6-4-4), the horse responded to prompting and wasn't beaten far. On August 25th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 7-6-3), a slow start was compensated for with a good recovery in the latter stages. This is its debut run as a new import, having commenced training in mid-March after arriving in Hong Kong. Two barrier trials have been undertaken this season without exceptional results. The horse steps low and has a good stride length but doesn’t travel deeply; it shows some acceleration but maintains a consistent pace. A mile distance appears more suitable. This is its first start, and further evaluation is needed after observing one race.
