Three weeks ago, the horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf race, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. Maintaining a steady pace throughout, it lacked a strong finishing burst but was beaten by only two lengths, finishing seventh. A subsequent dirt trial over 1200m saw a one-pound weight reduction and comparable times within its group. This time around, a hold-up tactics is expected; however, the finishing kick isn’t as competitive as rivals, creating an unfavorable situation despite securing an inside barrier. Trainer and jockey still demonstrate good synergy, but chances appear limited.
