Three weeks ago (September 16th), in a turf trial over 1000m, the horse settled near the front but didn't show much at the end. Returning from a long break, this is his seasonal debut. He has had one barrier trial with unremarkable results. Another trial was conducted on the straight course; he benefits from a two-pound weight reduction in this race but clocked slower times compared to other horses in the same group and drew a poor barrier. Despite trainer/jockey confidence, chances appear limited.
