Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed exceptionally well. A slow jump saw it settle back in the field before making a strong late run with fast sectionals to finish second, narrowly beaten by half a length. This time, only carrying one pound more than its last start, and with favorable group timing, the plan is again to race from behind relying on a powerful finishing kick which appears strongest in this group. The horse’s current form looks good, it has a clear advantage over other contenders, and there's good synergy between the jockey, trainer and horse – suggesting a chance to take the lead.
