Two weeks ago, this horse ran impressively over a Sha Tin 1400m race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a strong late run with good sectionals. He finished seventh, beaten two and a half lengths. Another turf trial over 1600m is planned with a one-pound weight reduction and an inside barrier draw this time. The tactics will be to settle back in the field and rely on a finishing kick. Connections are hopeful and the trainer/jockey combination appears to be working well, suggesting potential."
