On September 23rd, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 6-6-5), maintaining a wide path and showing strong footing. Three weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf mile race, the performance was acceptable despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. It made an effort during the middle section but couldn’t catch up. A subsequent barrier trial didn't reveal any improvement. This horse is stepping up in class for this race, switching to a straight course debut over this distance. He will carry 11 pounds more this time, which isn't ideal considering his suitability for this track configuration. Drawing a poor barrier necessitates a rearward position, and the finishing kick may not be strong enough to compete with rivals. Even with careful observation, it’s recommended to see how he performs in this race first before making further assessments.
