Three weeks ago, this horse ran a moderate race over Sha Tin 1200m, with a slow jump and settling towards the back. He made a mid-race move but couldn't sustain it to the finish. Now stepping up in class for another attempt on the straight course, he will carry nine pounds more this time. Having won three times previously at this distance and with good speed horses in the same group, he’s expected to track the leaders or even set the pace. His finishing kick is strong amongst his rivals. He's been working well leading up to the race, showing a positive attitude, but faces a disadvantageous barrier draw. A clean break and an intention to move forward are key for a good performance.
