On September 27th (Happy Valley turf trial, 1200m: 3-3-2), the horse responded well under pressure and showed increasing strength. On September 11th (dirt trial, 1200m: 2-2-2) he maintained a consistent pace while held in check. This is his seasonal debut. Two trials have shown slight improvement. Back on Sha Tin turf over 1200m this time, he will carry an additional seven pounds and has yet to win in three previous attempts at this distance. The strategy is to settle towards the rear of the field but finishing speed may not be competitive. While his group's times are relatively comparable, trainer-jockey combination remains solid, suggesting potential for a strong performance.
