Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with an even pace but no noticeable acceleration. Switching to Sha Tin over 1200m for its first attempt at this distance, it will carry one pound more this time. The distance is unfavorable, and the trainer-jockey combination isn't ideal. Despite drawing an inside barrier, a hold-up tactic is expected; finishing kick is considered strong within the group. Richard Kingscote takes the ride, demonstrating some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities, but it should be treated as a trial run.
