On September 26th (dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-4), the horse didn’t exert fully on the straight, showing a strong initial pace. On September 18th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-3), it jumped quickly and travelled wide throughout, maintaining a good stride. On September 8th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 5-3-2) the horse showed an upward jump at the start and steadily moved forward. Returning after a long break, this is its seasonal debut. Three barrier trials have shown moderate performances. Back to Sha Tin over 1200m, it will carry seven pounds more this time. It has previous records in this distance, with comparable section times within the group. It should be able to settle in a good position tracking the leaders. Hugh Bowman takes the ride; he has some understanding of the horse’s capabilities. Despite an unfavorable barrier and limited trainer-jockey synergy, it may still have a chance.
