A recent winner four weeks ago over the same distance, he delivered a strong performance despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. He closed strongly in the final two sections to win convincingly by one and a half lengths. The latest barrier trial didn’t show significant improvement. This time, he will carry an additional seven pounds. Having previously secured two wins over this course distance and possessing the fastest section times among its group, a hold-up tactic is expected with a strong finishing kick being his main asset. The horse appears well-positioned for success, demonstrating considerable ability. Jockey and trainer are a good combination and another victory seems likely.
