Four weeks ago, over the same distance, performance was below expectations; led easily but faded in the middle stages. This time with a four-pound weight reduction, having previously recorded two wins over this course and distance, and showing good times in its group, it has the potential to lead aggressively. The barrier draw is favorable, horse and jockey appear compatible, although the finishing kick may be lacking and trainer-jockey relationship isn’t ideal. As long as it jumps cleanly and commits to leading, a forward position should be achievable.
