Four weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed reasonably well despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. It showed a strong late run to finish fourth, beaten two and a half lengths. This time, there is no weight reduction and the barrier draw isn’t ideal; however, it has previously won three races at this distance and its sectional times are competitive within the group. The barrier position is good, suggesting a likely hold-up tactic, with a decent finishing kick expected but seemingly lacking a defined plan.
