On September 18th (Conghua dirt trial 1050m: 1-1-3), the horse took an early lead and was overtaken in the final stages, but wasn’t beaten far. On September 4th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-3), it led solo at a steady pace under urging. On May 2nd (dirt trial 1050m: 3-4-3) it was urged on the straight to regain second position. This horse is returning from a long break and making its seasonal debut. It has undergone three barrier trials with some improvement shown. Dropping in class, it will now race over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf track again this time carrying an additional 13 pounds. Despite drawing an inside barrier, a hold-up strategy is anticipated as the finishing kick is its strongest suit compared to rivals. The form looks reasonable and jockey Angus Chung has a good understanding of the horse's temperament; gate work has been added recently suggesting improved condition, however it has failed in all three previous attempts over this distance. Time comparisons within the group are unfavorable and trainer-jockey combination doesn’t seem ideal, a trailing tactic is recommended.
