On March 10th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1050m in running positions of 2-3-3, held back slightly during congestion. Four weeks ago, it ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley sprint distance, jumping slowly but finishing strongly after settling towards the rear. A recent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Returning to Sha Tin over 1200m this time with a two-pound weight reduction, the horse has proven form at this distance and comparable times within its group. It should be able to secure a good position tracking the leaders from an advantageous inside draw. Pre-race preparations are complete and it is expected to cause an upset.
