On March 10th, this horse recorded a dirt trial over 1200m with section times of 2-1-2, showing early speed but was overtaken near the finish. Five weeks ago, it ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a moderate pace but attempting to close late. A subsequent trial showed slight improvement. Returning to Sha Tin over 1200m this time, the horse will carry an additional three pounds. The trial times of its group were unremarkable, showing a lack of finishing kick; therefore, the current form isn’t ideal and there's limited synergy between trainer and jockey. However, it has previous records on this distance and drew a favourable barrier position, offering opportunity for a leading run. The jockey has some understanding of the horse’s capabilities and appears prepared for a strong showing. A clean break is crucial to secure an early lead and contention for a forward position.
