On September 27th at Happy Valley (turf) over 1200m, he took control uphill and improved with each stride. A turf trial over 1000m on September 16th saw a comfortable pace with strong strides. After a long break, this is his seasonal debut. Three barrier trials have demonstrated improvement. He carries one pound less weight in this race, has proven form over this distance, good times compared to rivals and drew a favorable barrier. Likely to track the leaders, he appears as a key contender. Andrea Atzeni takes the ride, familiar with the horse’s temperament. Despite needing to settle towards the back, his finishing speed might be inferior to some opponents, and the trainer-jockey partnership isn't ideal; however, a clean jump and willingness to follow should see him perform well.
