PATCH OF TIME

Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed exceptionally well. A slow jump saw it settle towards the rear before making a strong late run with fast sectionals to finish third, beaten by only two lengths and demonstrating good ability. This time benefiting from a one-pound weight reduction, having previously secured two wins at this course and distance with competitive times, and drawing a favourable barrier, it may be able to track the pace. However, its finishing kick is a concern, and overall, the situation isn't ideal; the hope is simply for a good run.
