Three weeks ago, over Sha Tin 1200m, the performance was below expectations. A slow jump led to settling towards the rear of the field, but showed a strong late run and finished within two and a half lengths of the winner, securing seventh place. This time stepping up to Happy Valley mile with a 2lb weight increase, the distance extension is expected to suit. The barrier draw is reasonable, requiring a hold-up tactic; showing a decent finishing kick, trainer and jockey appear confident and a placing wouldn’t be surprising.
