NOBLE PURSUIT

On October 13th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse running relaxed with an easy stride. Six weeks ago in the same distance race, performance was moderate; a slow jump led to settling towards the rear before making a mid-race effort but failing to sustain it to the finish. He finished seventh, beaten two and a half lengths. One barrier trial has been completed without showing significant improvement. This time he will carry three pounds more weight, facing unfavorable timing compared to other horses in the same group. Despite having previously won twice over this distance and drawing a good barrier, a cautious approach is warranted.
