Three days ago, this horse performed to a satisfactory level in a dirt mile race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He made progress during the middle stages but was unable to close the gap on the leaders. Racing again three days later over a Happy Valley mile with a two-pound weight reduction and an acceptable barrier draw, he is expected to settle back in the field. Despite potentially facing slow sectionals, his finishing kick remains strong within the group and shouldn't be discounted.
