PERFECTO MOMENTS

Four weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace but challenged by Last Resken. He finished fifth, beaten half a length. This time he has a one-pound weight reduction, good timing within his group, and an advantageous barrier draw. Considering his relative strength, the jockey has some understanding of the horse's capabilities. Even if required to race towards the rear this race, however, his finishing kick is weaker than his rivals, making his situation less favorable. The trainer/jockey combination isn’t ideal, but a win remains possible.
