On November 17th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw a slow start followed by consistent forward progress with a decent pace. Seven weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin 1400m race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but quickened in the second section before fading badly. Following a short break, a barrier trial showed slight improvement. A subsequent Happy Valley 1200m trial sees the horse with a two-pound weight reduction, facing weaker competition within its group, yet drawing a poor barrier. Despite late work at the gate, prospects for this race are unfavorable.
