The horse showed a strong late run to finish fourth, beaten by one and a half lengths. This time benefiting from a two-pound weight reduction, having proven form over this course and distance, and good timing within its group, it’s expected to settle back in the field and utilize a finishing kick. Based on the horse's ability, it is considered the strongest contender in this race. Trainer and jockey have a reasonable rapport, with gatework being done pre-race; however, an unfavorable barrier draw presents a challenge but there remains potential for saving something for a strong finish.
