Another trial on dirt over 1200m, he will carry five pounds more in this race. Times were good in his section, and the conditions look favorable. Considering the horse's ability, he is a definite contender in this competition. The jockey has some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities, and trainer and jockey appear to have a good understanding. Despite drawing an outside barrier, the plan is to settle towards the rear, although finishing kick may not be as strong as rivals; still expected to improve on previous performance.
