On December 30th, during a Conghua turf trial over 800m (sections: 2-2-3), the horse had a slightly slow start but then settled nicely tracking the leaders and showed acceptable performance. Three weeks ago in a Sha Tin turf mile race, it ran poorly settling forward with a steady pace but lacking a strong finishing burst. A subsequent barrier trial was satisfactory. Returning to racing after a spell, it will now contest a straight course race. This time it carries an additional four pounds, having previously secured two wins over this distance. The horse clocked good times in its work and has drawn well, suggesting a potential pace-setting strategy. Compared to other competitors, it appears relatively strong, is in good form, and with a clean break should be able to maintain a forward position.
