On December 22nd, (dirt trial 1200m: 2-1-2) the horse accelerated too quickly in the middle section and was overtaken near the finish. Four weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over Sha Tin turf 1400m, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace but lacking a finishing surge. One barrier trial showed slight improvement. Another dirt trial over 1200m, this time with a two-pound weight reduction, and drawing an unfavorable outside barrier, despite potential to lead early, opportunities appear limited.
