Two weeks ago, this horse performed well over a Sha Tin 1800m race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a strong late run in the final two sections. Now stepping up in class to contest a Sha Tin 2000m race for the first time, he receives a six-pound weight reduction but is unlikely to suit this distance, requiring a hold-up tactic. However, his finishing kick was not as strong as rivals and trainer-jockey combination isn’t ideal. Fortunately, he has drawn an advantageous inside barrier with good synergy between horse and rider.
