Two weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over 1800m at Happy Valley, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He made a strong move in the middle stages, accelerating well through the final two sections and maintaining good momentum. He finished fifth, beaten two lengths. Now dropping back to 2000m on Sha Tin turf, he will carry 14 pounds more this time. Having previously won twice over this distance, with competitive times recorded, and drawing an inside barrier, a hold-up strategy is expected. His finishing kick appears strong within the field, and overall form looks promising. Based on relative ability, this horse has good potential, and the jockey has some familiarity with its capabilities—considered capable of winning.
