Three weeks ago, this horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m in running positions of 7-7-6, travelling wide and pacing comfortably. Two weeks ago, another dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse run on the outside throughout, maintaining a steady pace. Six weeks ago in its last race over this distance, it performed reasonably well, jumping slowly but finishing with a strong effort from behind. Having completed two barrier trials, no noticeable improvement has been shown. This time, there is no weight reduction, having secured four wins from fourteen starts at this course and distance; the horse’s times are comparable to others in the same class. Drawing an inside barrier, it's expected to settle back in the field and rely on a powerful finishing kick – which is its strongest asset compared to rivals. The stable is actively preparing for a strong performance.
