March 13th (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 1-1-5) showed a fast pace in the first two sections, but faded on the straight. January 29th (dirt trial 1200m: 8-8-8) was a slow start and never participated in the competition. February 10th (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 4-3-3) had an average break and vied for the lead uphill, responding well to urging over the final 200m. December 16th (Sha Tin turf trial 1000m: 4-3-11) showed an early eagerness but weakened in the final stages. December 18th (Sha Tin turf trial 800m: 7-5-8) jumped awkwardly and appeared immature, showing eagerness over the final 400m. This is a debutant; began training in Hong Kong in late September of last year. Five trials this season have yielded unremarkable results, with a low leg action and slow gait. More suited to 1400m-mile distances, this race is a short sprint debut with a poor barrier draw – observing its first run is advised.
