AUTUMN VIBES

Three weeks ago, over Sha Tin 1200m, the horse performed respectably despite a slow start, settling towards the back of the field with an even pace. He responded well to pressure but was beaten three and a half lengths. In a subsequent trial over Happy Valley 1200m, this horse will carry three pounds less weight but has drawn a poor barrier. A hold-up strategy is expected, however, the finishing speed was not competitive enough and the draw poses a challenge. The trial times were reasonable compared to others in the group, suggesting an outside chance.
