CANDLELIGHT DINNER

Last run winner, three weeks ago this horse ran well in a Happy Valley sprint, settling comfortably tracking the leaders and showing strong early speed to win. Subsequently trialled over 1200m at Happy Valley, this time carrying seven extra pounds, it looks capable of leading. The barrier draw is reasonable and trainer-jockey relationship remains solid. Showing good energy in trackwork, despite questionable form from other horses in the same group, a poor barrier position is concerning, but if jumping cleanly, it should aim to take an early lead.
