On February 12th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 8-8-7), the horse settled towards the rear and performed ordinarily. On March 30th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 2-1-3) it tracked the leaders with a steady pace, finishing without distinction. On November 18th (turf trial 1000m: 9-7-9), despite strong urging, there was no response. Prior to April, in a dirt track race over 1200m, the performance was poor; slow start, settled at the back with an even pace but lacked a finishing kick and finished well-beaten. After a lengthy spell, it has undergone three barrier trials without showing improvement. Body weight has been reduced by forty pounds. Switching to Happy Valley over 1200m for its debut on this course, the horse faces an eight-pound weight increase this time, with concerns regarding the distance suitability and an unfavourable barrier draw. Even if able to secure a good position tracking the leaders, it's best to observe its performance in one race first.
