Six weeks ago, this horse ran a decent race over Sha Tin turf at 1200m, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear but finishing with a strong run. He finished eighth, beaten two and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial showed only moderate performance. Another dirt trial over 1200m on February 16th saw him hold fourth position with an eye-catching demeanor. This time, stepping up to Happy Valley over 1200m with a three-pound weight reduction, the plan is to settle towards the rear but finishing kick may not be strong enough to compete. Despite similar times within the group and securing a favorable barrier, overall prospects are limited.
