LUCKY TOGETHER

On March 5th (dirt trial 1200m: 3-2-4), the horse didn't show early pace and maintained a steady run down the straight. Four weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf race over 1200m, it performed poorly, jumping slowly and settling towards the back of the field with an even pace throughout. A recent barrier trial showed moderate form. Switching to Happy Valley over 1200m now for its first attempt at this distance, the trip is not ideal and its time performance was unremarkable. The unfavorable draw necessitates a trailing position; it lacked the finishing kick of rivals, and trainer-jockey combination isn't optimal, reducing its chances.
