On February 27th, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m (sections: 7-5-4), the horse broke slowly and tracked the rail. A slow start to the trial saw it maintain steady pace throughout. In March, its last run on Sha Tin’s turf over 1200m was poor; it settled in a good position tracking the leaders at an even tempo with unremarkable performance but wasn't beaten far, finishing two and a half lengths behind the winner. A subsequent barrier trial showed satisfactory form. Returning to Happy Valley over 1200m this time with a one-pound weight reduction, having previously recorded two wins over the course and distance with reasonable times, it can compete for an early lead. Its finishing kick was strong within its group in recent trials; however, the barrier draw is unfavourable and the trainer/jockey combination isn't particularly strong – caution advised.
