On March 19th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-1), the horse led and ran straight to the finish line. Four weeks ago, in a Happy Valley 1200m race, the performance was disappointing; a slow jump resulted in settling towards the rear with an even pace throughout the run and unremarkable movement. A barrier trial showed slight improvement. Returning to the dirt track over 1200m, the horse faces a disadvantageous situation with a poor barrier draw forcing it to settle back. The finishing kick was weaker than opponents, and trainer-jockey communication isn't considered particularly strong; however, the time figures are still acceptable and adequate preparation has been done, but high expectations aren’t warranted.
