JUSTIFYING

On March 14th, this horse recorded (Happy Valley dirt trial 1200m: 3-3-5), with a moderate early pace and maintaining consistent speed in the straight. On February 24th, a turf trial over 1000m resulted in (4-5-4) settling near the front with a strong stride. Two months ago, in a Happy Valley 1200m race, the performance was disappointing, tracking the leaders in a good position but lacking a late surge. Two barrier trials have been completed without showing significant improvement. Switching to dirt over 1200m for its debut on this surface, the horse will carry an additional two pounds this time. The distance is not ideal and the time figures are weak. Trainer-jockey combination hasn’t demonstrated strong synergy, however, it possesses early speed potential and has the strongest finishing kick in the group, making a place finish possible.
